Potenza RF microneedlng simply works by providing pulses of radiofrequency (heat energy) along with fine needle punctures simulataneously to cause micro- inury at levels of upper and lower layers of the skin called the dermis (see diagram)
Once this deeper skin injury occurs the bodies natural healing processes take over which over time stimulates regeneration of collagen and elastin. One would expect an overall improved appearance of texture, fine lines , tone and brightness to facial and body skin over a period of 1- 6 months! It is recommended that this treament be performed in intervals of 3 spaced evenly every 5-6 weeks for maximal effects. it is a relatively painless procedure , minimal downtime, that takes approximatly 30 min - 1 houir to perform. A topical anesthetic is used or optional, rarely needed Nitrox gas to help anxiety and pain.
